ABOUT US

Located in Port Washington since 1972 and at its current location since 1998, the goal at Dance Arts Centre is to enrich our students lives through dance and movement, as well as to inspire a love of dancing!

We ask our students to challenge themselves by learning something new, showing them the potential for fun as they learn, and by watching them enjoy their achievements as they succeed.

At Dance Arts Centre, we strive to provide a safe space for our dancers to learn and excel while creating life long bonds and memories. Our mission is to offer students a

well-rounded dance education while teaching them to embrace this beautiful art for all that it is.

We are a performance studio and offer a multitude of different classes; From hip hop/jazz to ballet, as well as, lyrical to Dance Company. We take pride in our technique based curriculum and nurturing class environment. Classes start at age 2 and go up to age 18.

Dance Arts Centre is highly committed to supporting our Port Washington Community and has participated in and performed at various events such as, PortFest,

Port Outdoors, and Port Holiday Magic.

Our Dance Company was even invited to perform at the Halftime Show for the New York Riptide at Nassau Coliseum.
